The Amazon Shipping team in Europe spans four countries Italy, Spain, France, and the UK and several functional teams, who work closely together to drive self-service acquisition, lifecycle marketing, media buying and demand generation for Sales, accelerating the growth of our business.
The team works closely with global Marketing Automation, Brand, and Product Marketing to build and convey a compelling message to customers of all sizes, deploying campaigns across both online and offline channels.
The ideal candidate will be excited growing a small business to high potential, and will have a proven track record of driving growth through strategic marketing strategies to bring high performing leads into the top of funnel.
The right candidate has successful experience in results-driven marketing, an unbridled passion for technology, and an entrepreneurial spirit with strong product marketing, leadership, financial literacy and stakeholder management skills.
They will demonstrate ability to balance campaign creation and ideation, data analysis, strategic leadership, project and senior stakeholder management.
They have experience working for a B2B tech, or logistics company, leading cross-functional marketing initiatives in a fast moving and ambiguous environment, balancing long-term vision with the ability to execute tactical details in a fast growing space.
Given the initiative is still in an early phase, it will also be important to come up with and test new ideas, dive deep into the data to double down on what’s performing, and create scalable programs and mechanism to grow effectively.
You'll need to act both strategically and tactically - from the creation of plans, to the execution, and analysis of business impact.
Key job responsibilities
- Develop a high-performing, high-growth team, to achieve key metrics, including acquisition, lead generation and qualification, upsell, and retention
- Implement global brand strategy, adapting key messages for e-commerce sellers and directing effective content to support customers and prospects throughout their lifecycle
- Work closely with the team to run marketing campaigns and other growth initiatives end-to-end : Design experiments, develop campaign strategy, and drive execution of the campaign through to completion
- Partner with a cross-disciplinary team of Product Managers, Sales / Account Managers, Finance / Data Science, and Operations teams to ensure alignment of marketing strategy, removing blockers, and ensuring support across team to meet timelines.
- Champion customer obsession across customer cohorts, influencing teams to drive a clear vision for profitable growth in each segment
- Develop mechanisms for efficient strategic planning and operationalize mechanisms to automate manual process
A day in the life
We are seeking an innovative, resourceful, and collaborative Marketing Leader to drive forward EU marketing with a strong focus on demand generation and acquisition.
On a weekly basis engaging with L8 and L10 leaders to share progress, analytics and creative approaches. You will guide strategy and solutions for improvements to existing tools and platforms, drive growth working with other internal teams, and implement best practices that improve marketing attribution, lead acquisition and management processes and data availability across team.
Successful candidates should be analytical, and diving deep, and have a proven track record of end-to-end leadership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, environment.
About the team
The EU shipping Marketing team works closely with the NA team and other Shared marketing services. Managing teams across UK, IT, ES and FR with ambitious growth for the next 3 years.
Minimum Qualifications :
- Experience managing teams
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams
- Experience in marketing or marketing research
- Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
- Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal to senior leadership
Preferred Qualifications :
- Knowledge of Pardot and Salesforce
- Strong track record of leading demand generation and high performing teams
