The newly developed Discovery Tech team helps customers discover and engage with new, popular and relevant products across categories. We do this by combining technology, science, innovation, marketing and creativity to build new customer-facing features and experiences alongside cutting edge tools for marketers. We are looking for creative, customer-obsessed, curious and highly entrepreneurial marketers to join our new and exciting team.
The Sr Marketing Manager - Offsite Media will be responsible for driving a best-in-class customer experience, helping to drive sales and innovation across paid social and paid display/video campaigns.
This role will have end-to-end ownership of campaigns from ideation to execution with a strong foundation in e-commerce best practices.
The role will require you to bring your proven creative, analytical, and strategic capabilities to imagine, develop, plan, implement, and optimize compelling campaigns that deliver results.
The role will require you to think strategically and execute flawlessly. You understand data workflows, customer segmentation, automation and personalization, ecomm and consumer marketing, and testing best practices.
The role will require you to earn trust with key stakeholders across multiple teams and are excited to test and learn in a data-driven environment.
This role will work autonomously yet enjoy collaboration, handle multiple large-scale initiatives, and deliver results that raise the bar.
A successful candidate will be motivated by an entrepreneurial, fast-paced and highly collaborative environment, have high quality standards, and be passionate about building a new customer experiences.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
·5 years of experience in marketing with executing highly visible online customer experiences
· 5 years’ experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing campaigns from concept to completion
· 5 years’ experience using analytical tools to measure performance, determine improvements and innovations, and make adjustments accordingly
· Advanced Excel skills
· Demonstrated experience using analytical tools to measure performance, determine improvements and innovations, and make adjustments accordingly
· Experience participating in cross-functional projects
· Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal to senior leadership
· Attention to detail, excellent organization skills, and ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities
· Ambitious self-starter with demonstrated ability and willingness to roll up sleeves to get the job done
· Strong drive for results with the ability to manage independently
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Strong execution capability with highest standards in a rapidly evolving business
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communication, computer science, or other related field
· 5 years’ experience using customer research, data and metrics to back up assumptions, generate forecasts, and assess the efficacy of programs
· Aptitude for being organized with flexibility to deliver results in a fast-paced environment
· Experience working cross-functionally across Vendor Managers, Product Management, Marketing, PR, Legal, and Research
