What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Operations Project Manager position at amazon?

Responsible for the coordination and completion of project/program. Oversees all aspects of projects/program. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project/program. Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project/program.
May require a bachelor's degree and at least 7 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree – Project Management, Marketing, Business or related field
· Minimum 7 years of experience in project management or marketing operations exp
· Software: MS office suite
· Exposure to marketing tools – email marketing and push notifications -outbound channels
· Experience writing or updating/teaching/following SOPs with stakeholders
· Experience with stakeholder management
· Experience working cross functional teams/stakeholders
Experience in analytics or data analysis would be nice to have.
Day to Day:
· Stake holder management, will be doing automations or other tasks to keep them up to date on projects.
· Help facilitate user testing for new features
· Send out status communications and provide SOP’s on how to use tools
· Keep SOP’s up to date
· Process/mechanism improvement – look into the processes and see how they can improve it.
· Tactical/execution – jumping in to help with new features, automation campaign set up.
Contract Length: 11 Months
Location: Seattle (Hybrid)
Pay Range: $70 - $77 per hour
