Responsible for the coordination and completion of project/program. Oversees all aspects of projects. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes the progress of the project/program. Prepares reports for upper management regarding the status of project/program. May require a bachelor's degree and 4-7 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
Responsibilities:
Collaboration: Work with a close-knit team of Project Managers (PMs) who are dedicated to driving excellence in grocery real estate projects.
Effective Communication: Engage in daily online communication to ensure seamless collaboration within the team and with stakeholders.
Project Oversight: Provide hands-on support, ensuring milestones are met and projects stay on track.
Nationwide Scope: Manage a project portfolio spanning multiple grocery business units across the country.
Retrofit Initiatives: Oversee the retrofitting of grocery fulfillment centers, optimizing their functionality and efficiency.
Construction Execution: Coordinate with on-site teams, third-party logistics (3PL) partners, and contractors to ensure successful project execution.
Project Playbook: Maintain a comprehensive project playbook, capturing best practices and lessons learned.
Reporting: Regularly report progress and key insights to blue badge PMs and senior leadership.
Night Shift Availability: Be open to working night shifts as needed to support project timelines.
Qualifications:
Experience: 4-7 years of project management experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Travel: Willingness to travel 75%
Financial Acumen: Experience with financial analysis is a plus.
CAD Proficiency: Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings preferred
Construction Background: Preference for candidates with construction project management experience.
Contract Length: 6 months
Location: Remote - 75% of Travel required.
Pay Range: $38 - $41 per hour
