The Senior Manager is part of a startup team innovating end-to-end shopping experiences. You'll be responsible for the designing, implementing, and maintaining high impact processes and supporting teams, that helps us deliver on our customer promise seamlessly. Define launch strategy for Amazon Today in existing and new categories and locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and deliver important programs with broad cross-functional and cross-organizational business impact
- Lead the design of the solution, implementation, and delivery of a highly complicated cross-functional project in a new business area
- Bring strong, data-driven business and strategic judgment to decisions
- Invent, evolve, improve, and simplify processes and technology requirements (when appropriate).
- Develop business and process requirements, prioritize needs, and manage milestones and overall roadmap. Create buy-in for the vision both internally and with key external partners
- Approach complex business problems, aligning divergent stakeholder teams to a common plan
Key job responsibilities
The Senior Manager is expected to setup processes and run support operations for tier-1 Amazon Today services. The leader will manage a team comprising program managers and support engineers who will be responsible for handling issues in Amazon Today stores or CX that result in either poor Selling Partner or Customer experience. The leader will setup and continuously improve the SOPs for the team to reduce the incident response time, will influence the product and engineering teams to address the rootcauses resulting in bugs/break-downs and build the tooling required to handle the day to day ticket volume at scale.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 7 years of team management experience
- 7 years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 7 years of program or project management experience
- 7 years of managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 7 years of working cross functionally across several teams experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- Experience defining and executing program requirements
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $121,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $225,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
