DESCRIPTION
Ring is looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager to help deliver highly cross-functional product features to support the growth of Ring Subscriptions business across multiple sales channels & geographies. In this role, you will interpret, communicate, drive & execute full subscriptions lifecycle programs. You will engage with product & engineering teams along with cross-functional stakeholders to plan and coordinate the execution of subscriptions roadmap, plan for dependencies, budget for and secure resources, sort through many competing priorities while defining processes that improve teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment across multiple disparate groups with competing priorities.
You will lead the delivery of the large, complex projects by anticipating bottlenecks, providing escalation management, making tradeoffs, and balancing the business needs versus technical constraints.
Key job responsibilities
• Manage multiple complex and large programs simultaneously from initiation through delivery
• Drives day to day project team activities to meet project milestones
• Use strong program management, organizational and leadership skills to facilitate effective, collaborative project meetings
• Collect, analyze, integrate and maintain key cross functional deliverables (e.g. project plans, change management plans, automation & migration schedules, etc.)
• Lead internal and external teams to deliver on key initiatives. This includes evaluating and recommending technical solutions to meet customer requirements, ensure long term scalability, and meet project timelines.
• Communicate to leadership the status and key deliverables of team initiatives, seek diverse opinions and coordinate improvement efforts.
• Intake requests for team support in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
• Create mechanisms to drive timely, accurate and comprehensive project execution. Eliminate obstacles and drive issue resolution to ensure deliverables & timelines are met.
• Lead the coordination of release schedules
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• 7 years of experience working directly with engineering teams
• Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
• 5 years of technical program management experience
• 5 years of experience managing complex technology projects
• Bachelor's Degree or 4 years equivalent work experience
• Experience with current web and service technologies and architectures
• Excellent leadership, teamwork, and collaboration skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Master's or advanced degree in computer science or engineering preferred
• Digital product/subscriptions delivery experience
• Demonstrated examples of leading a project from start to completion in a high growth environment
• Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage tradeoffs and evaluate opportunistic new ideas with internal and external partners
• Possess excellent business judgment, strong written and oral communication skills, and a practical, common sense approach to getting things done.
• PMP and CSM certifications preferred
