We are looking for a contract Recruiter to join our Human Resources team, to lead by example and provide recruitment support to the organization. In this role, you will assist with the talent acquisition and recruiting lifecycle across a variety of open roles helping management identify, screen, and hire qualified talents. You will be responsible for cultivating a pipeline of best-in-class talent for Ambarella through innovative outreach methods. You will work to reduce the time it takes to fill each position while continually striving to improve the satisfaction of your hiring managers and HR partners.
Responsibilities:
- Own the recruiting cycle from end to end, spanning all areas and disciplines including but not limited to; developing and updating job descriptions/specifications; screening resumes, interviewing and manage candidates throughout interview process, reference/background checking, and offer negotiation.
- Coach, mentor and train team members to find the best employees for our company
- Drive technology, process and teamwork efforts to enhance the recruitment process
- Proactively recruit passive talent to join the Ambarella team
- Work with HR and the hiring managers to provide guidance, expertise, collaboration and teamwork to gain a comprehensive understanding of the company’s hiring needs for each position, job specifications, and meet competitive hiring goals and expectations
- Utilize the world’s best recruiting tools to get the job done better, faster and more efficiently than ever before
- Develop and maintain the current job boards, social networks, and platforms to source the right talents, and plan, create, and release job postings and announcements
- Maintain a database of candidate records and other candidate classifications
- Assist in the onboarding and new hire process.
- Providing recruitment reports to HR and hiring managers, as requested.
- Ensure all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with employment laws and regulations
- Deliver against set metrics to provide consistent results and data-backed progress
- Other projects as needed for HR and Staffing
Basic Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- 3 years of experience in recruiting or talent acquisition
- Working knowledge and experience with applicant tracking/HRIS systems and passive candidate sourcing
- Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter or LinkedIn as a recruiting tool
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Working knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods
- Deep understanding of employment laws and regulations
- Familiar with a wide variety of sourcing avenues
- Experience effectively hiring and motivating talent, In-house and agency
- Strong understanding of talent and competency models, recruiting fundamentals, competitive market awareness and online/social media
- Knowledge of the web/Internet market space, including trade journals, academic institutions, alumni associations and other sources of great candidates
- Ability to work with HR Partners as well as managers on projects
- Excellent communication, time management and negotiation skills
- Expert knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Ability to work with internal clients to develop and iterate best-in-class profiles to reflect the talent needs of the business
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
This position may go from a temp/contract to regular employee position.
