RN / LPN Post Acute LTC - (DYP)
Registered Nurse (RN):
Weekly Guaranteed 36 Hours: $2,372; But if scheduled for 40 Hours: $2,642
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):
Weekly Guaranteed 36 Hours: $2,098; But if scheduled for 40 Hours: $2,322
Location: Lewiston, ME and Bangor, ME
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift Information: Either days (6a-6p) or nights (6p-6a)

Summary:
3 East: A 31-bed unit focusing on Alzheimer’s/dementia care, using both verbal and non-verbal communication techniques to address residents’ social and emotional needs in a home-like environment.
Transitional Rehabilitation Unit: A 42-bed unit providing short-term, skilled nursing and rehab services for patients recovering from fractures, joint replacements, stroke, and other short-term conditions. Services may include IV therapy, wound care, and geriatric assessment.
3 West: A 42-bed long-term care unit offering care to residents needing long-term placement in a supportive, home-like setting.
Job Requirements
Education: Associate’s degree in Nursing or graduation from a Maine State Board-approved LPN course.
License: The valid State of Maine or compact RN/LPN license.
Experience: 1-3 years of previous RN/LPN experience preferred.
Skills:
Medical terminology is preferred.
Strong teamwork and communication skills are required.
Ability to work well within a team of care providers.
Flexibility to cover 24/7 and float to other units as needed.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Additional Information
Vaccination Requirement: All candidates must be vaccinated; no exemptions will be considered.
Residency Requirement: Candidates must reside outside of a 50-mile radius.
