RN Supervisor 11-7, Full-Time EOWE

Amberwoods of Farmington seeks a night-shift, full-time RN Supervisor to promote the health and wellbeing of our residents and patients through sound nursing judgement and effective leadership. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, will be customer-service oriented, and will have long-term care or hospital experience.

Amberwoods is a 130-bed facility providing long-term skilled nursing, short-term rehabilitation and Memory Care services. We are committed to excellence and provide superior customer service. We are well staffed and have a committed management team. Our facility is conveniently located within proximity to I-84 and is a ten-minute drive to downtown Hartford. We are positioned in a wooded setting and have a very large, attractive courtyard. We are proud to have very few and infrequent nurse vacancies.

Experience:

• Requires a minimum of 2 years of increased responsibility and experience in a supervisory position in long term care.
• Previous experience as an RN Supervisor (preferred).

Qualifications:

• Current State of Connecticut RN license.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks accurately and completely.
• Ability to lead night shift staff and empower nurses to oversee their units, having high expectations and a direct but kind approach.
• Excellent customer service and problem solving skills.
• Knowledge of state/federal regulations and surveys preferred.
• Must maintain current active CPR.
• IV skills preferred.
