Duties:
- To include but not limited to: *
- Inspect for quality per specification sheet
- Read and comprehend a standard US English tape measure
- Read, comprehend, and follow all specifications in the job folder and anywhere in the job folder
- Proficient with math and reading
- Complete all required paperwork (batch sheet, scrap log, quality forms, parameter sheets, any special customer requirements, any other forms as needed)
- How to read a batch sheet and communicate with Material Handler that the batch/mix is correct
- Assist Process Technician during trouble shooting, changeovers, startups, line setup and shutdown
- Drain resin hoppers
- Monitor production speeds
- Train other Production Operators
- Use color/additive feeders
- Cut plastic from cores using a utility knife and wearing proper PPE
- Cut cores using a table saw
- Maintain ink/solvent levels in print presses
- Maintain a clean environment in all areas of the facility
- Using the correct sized pallet, stacking finished goods on the pallet, and wrapping and labeling a finished pallet per customer specifications
- Able to perform these duties on any production line in P1 facility including accessory equipment such as Pelletizer or Munchy
- Be professional and be a part of the team
- Perform other duties as required
- Perform continuous inspections of product both visual as well as through the use of micrometers and record product and process parameters.
- Complete all necessary paperwork as required, giving particular attention to product weights and scrap.
- Package product according to instructions
- Keep extrusion lines, equipment, and surrounding areas clean and orderly.
- Use lifting equipment and fork trucks on a regular basis
- Perform other duties as required and assigned by shift supervisor or facility management
Education and Experience:
High school diploma/GED

- 1 years working in a manufacturing environment
- Strong work ethic and organizational skills
- Able to multi-task in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Capable of lifting 50 pounds unassisted
- Able to work on foot for long periods of time
- Climb stairs, crouch, kneel, bend
- Reliable mode of transportation
- Good communicator
