Amcor Flexibles North America (AFNA), a division of Amcor, operates across 35 plants and employs 9,000 colleagues within North America with headquarters in Chicago, IL and Oshkosh, WI. Job Description

This role will also provide a wide range of administrative support to the location, specifically in the areas of EHS. Excellent interpersonal skills while being conscientious of maintaining confidentiality are critical while adhering to Amcor core values and a high performing culture. This role will have additional project responsibilities and designated assignments. This is a part-time hourly position working 20-30 hours per week.
Major Responsibilities:
  • Coordinates facility safety programs including emergency procedures, annual CPR/AED training, BBS, training tracking, CBT set up, CBT Tracking, safety shoe program, PPE procurement, First aid supplies, and glasses program tracking, etc.
  • Support OSHA hours reporting process by maintaining and tracking all incidents, observations, or near misses and scanning and filing of all supporting documentation to these incidences.
  • Assist in setting up site programs including but not limited to training vendors, holiday events, safety recognition, and other site-supported events requiring resources for coordination.
  • Assist with purchase orders, purchase requisitions, scanning of invoices, scanning of receipts, and paying invoices with various vendors as they come in.
  • Department filing of all required program documentation and monitoring of online scanned document system for Maintenance and EHS cross functional data base.
  • Various EHS board updating throughout the week and month.
  • Tracking of data for KPIs and other metrics from the EHS department.
  • Complete facilitation of the LOTO annual assessment and competency exercise for entire workforce.
  • Ordering of safety and other office supplies.
  • Safety audit completion and tracking.
  • Facilitation of the Safety Poster contest and other promotions from the EHS department that keep safety fresh and in the forefront.
  • Site visitor database tracking and compliance.
  • Environmental Auditing on a daily, weekly, monthly, and annual basis.
  • Assist in the creation of documentation needed for processes on the floor that impact the safety of the facility.
  • Assist in the training profiling process to ensure any new or revised EHS documentation are accounted for in the training program.
  • Facilitation and printing of site security access badges.
  • Assist the EHS manager in any urgent tasks as needed.

  • Good organizational skills to handle a large volume of paperwork and data flow.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred with 1-2 years of experience in an administrative office support role.
  • Strong data entry skills with working knowledge of computer programs including Microsoft Office Suite.
