Job Description This role is responsible for leading and facilitating ongoing logistics execution functions, in a manner consistent with the Company’s standard processes and procedures. The function is accountable for the timely arrival of raw materials to multiple locations, including, and not limited to, customer sites, other Amcor locations, vendors and contracted partners. This position will partner with the Facility Manager, Facility & MSC Operations teams, R&D team members, Amcor logistics & trade compliance, EHS and site management to help achieve high performance in all facets of safety, quality, service and cost management WHAT YOU GET TO DO Act as a safety leader, but putting safety first in all responsibilities, ensuring that polices and safety rules are being followed. Facilitate the day‐to‐day shipping/receiving, material handling, warehouse and inventory management for the Amcor Neenah Innovation Center Provide timely, accurate and thorough communication; ensure collaborative communication with all stakeholders at the NIC Responsible for the day‐to‐day material flow and transactions that occur at the operating site, including the effective flow and cycle count of all materials Responsible for raw material and support material inventory and supply so that operational demands are satisfied and inventory levels are optimized Accurate inventory reporting and cycle count accuracy; Monitors aged material levels Generate the shipment and/or receiving documentation required for outbound/inbound daily shipments. Audit documentation for accuracy. Includes reviewing: packing lists; pick lists; bills of lading; and any other specific shipment documentation. Facilitate the loading and unloading for truck trailers. Daily billing of appropriate freight charges for proper invoicing requirements. Be knowledgeable of DOT rules, Federal transportation rules and regulations, hazardous waste shipment regulations, and other shipping regulations Support and actively participate in department process improvement and safety initiatives. Additional duties as assigned.
