Supporting the Most Exciting and Meaningful Missions in the World Technical Exploitation SME The Technical Liaison Officer (LNO) has two primary roles within the DoD Red Team. The Technical LNO is responsible for the manufacture and maintenance of DoD Red Team technical collection and surreptitious entry equipment. Additionally, the Technical LNO is responsible in advising and training the DoD Red Team in the implementation of tactics, techniques and procedures employed by technically sophisticated adversaries. The Technical LNO integrates with the DoD Red Team from concept of the operation development through ground assessment termination. The Technical LNO will advise the DoD Red Team in current adversarial trends as well as the specific capabilities and limitations of available technologies. The Technical LNO will design, test, and train the DoD Red Team to implement equipment in an operational environment. The Technical LNO will engage with Counterintelligence and operational units to maintain an up to date familiarity with adversarial tactics techniques and procedures. The Technical LNO will develop technology and equipment similar to that being used by adversaries to be employed by the DoD Red Team. The Technical LNO will reside and work with DoD Red Team partner organizations. Responsibilities/Tasks The Technical LNO shall: Maintain a current understanding of adversarial tactics, techniques, and procedures Maintain DoD Red Team technical collection and surveillance inventory Design, test, and maintain technical collection and entrance inventory Train the DoD Red Team to implement technical collection and/or BMOE equipment in an operational environment Design, test, and maintain concealment devices Advise the DoD Red Team in the proper implementation and handling of technical collection equipment Integrate with the DoD Red Team during pre-mission training (PMT) and during Red Team operations to support Technical LNO equipment and the DoD Red Team. Produce and maintain accountability of fabricated documentation and credentials in support of DoD Red Team assessments Required Skills/Qualifications: At least 5 years’ experience in Technical Surveillance At least 3 years’ experience in Technical Surveillance in an operational environment Electrical Engineering Experience Demonstrated experience designing and employing surreptitious audio/video collection devices Demonstrated experience exploiting radio frequency (RF) for operational advantage (3G, 4G, GSM, RFID, PTT, WiFi, Bluetooth) Proficient in Tag, Track, Locate (TTL) Experience constructing and employing concealment devices Experience employing surreptitious entry techniques Experience designing, manufacturing, and piloting UAS Sensitive site exploitation Active TS/SCI clearance Desired Skills/Qualifications: Advanced Special Operations Techniques – Level III (or equivalent) Advanced Technical Surveillance Course (or equivalent) Successful completion of the Technical Surveillance Counter Measure course Possesses a current FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate Bypass Methods of Entry (BMOE) Alarm Bypass Experience with audio visual security system design and bypass Counterintelligence collection/analysis Experience fabricating documentation and/or credentials in support of operations Experience in audio/visual security system design and/or compromise PAE is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
