Job Title: Warehouse Lead

Job Objective: To assist with incoming and outgoing shipping and receiving needs of the Off-Site warehouse. The lead will communicate on a daily basis via email and phone what will be needed for the forecasted loads. Must maintain a clean and organized warehouse. The lead must maintain a professional decorum and place and direct employees in roles and job duties. The lead needs to be able to follow and enforce SOP as well as follow them. To pull correct units from warehouse properly weighing and scanning each unit then cart them to trailers for loading on trucks with a forklift. To load trailers in a safe manner trying to pack as many units in the trailer as possible while maintaining units in way that will provide a safe delivery and easy unloading. Must know how to timely and accurately process all the required paperwork and computer entries necessary.

Clerical/Technical Functions:

Employee must have:

• Good reading comprehension, math skills and basic computer skills
• Have a good understanding of Outlook and Excel
• Excellent communication and phone skills
• Ability to research rates with carriers, understand rating guides and carrier’s website navigation
• Ability to manage multiple ongoing tasks at once
• Understanding how to react and respond when an emergency comes up and have sense of urgency where needed.
• Understanding of how to manage and facilitate return shipments back to plant as well as managing all outgoing freight.

Job Related Functions:

Employee must be able to:

• Work with MINIMAL Supervision
• Give direction to employees as well as take direction from management

• Endure constant standing, walking, pushing and pulling, with frequent bending or stooping
• Lift (with a partner) units weighing up to 200 pounds
• Reach above head and below shoulders to stack units weighing 1-200 pounds
• Distinguish between colors and minute shading of colors
• Distinguish between different models of bath units
• Know location and organization of units on warehouse floor and deck
• Read a tape measure
• Organized and detail oriented
• Drive a fork lift
• All other job duties as assigned

This job requires medium physical work, with frequent lifting, pushing, pulling and carrying. It also requires good communication, organizational and computer skills as well as the ability to read load sheets. There will be the need to work OT as directed so employee must maintain a flexible schedule.

Pay: From $18.10 per hour

Experience:

• Warehouse experience: 1 year (Preferred)
