American Care Services is Home Care Organization(HCO) providing affordable in- home care services. Currently, we are looking for individuals to join our team in providing compassionate care.

Qualifications:

• Must be authorized to work in USA.

• Must be a registered in California Home Care Aide Registry

• Must maintain current credentials, including CPR, 1st Aide, TB Test, Physical and Fingerprint Clearance Card.

• Must have a satisfactory work record, with experience preferred.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Physically able to perform the duties of the position.

• Able to exhibit mature, responsible behavior, and understand the need for patient confidentiality.

• Can communicate with client and carry out instructions.

• Able to read, write, understand and speak English is a must.

• Must be able to follow direction and accurately report to the Care Coordinator any change in client’s condition.

• Be able to attend ongoing training when offered.

• Must have available reliable transportation to and from assignments. May be approved to drive client and/or run errands. Essential Functions.

• Plans and prepares meals and snacks according to specific dietary requirements of the client.

• Maintains a safe, clean and healthy environment through light housekeeping including changing bed linens, dusting and vacuuming, cleaning bathroom, washing dishes and cleaning kitchen, and doing laundry.

• Provides companionship and stimulation for the client including reading, walking, etc.; accompanies the client to doctors or other appointments.

• Performs grocery shopping or other errands when needed.

• Performs other housekeeping tasks as indicated in the care plan.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

• Caregiving: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
