Duties:
- Conduct individual sessions with clients to address their mental health concerns and develop treatment plans
- Facilitate group therapy sessions to provide support and guidance to clients in a group setting
- Perform clinical assessments and evaluations to determine appropriate treatment approaches
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists and social workers, to coordinate care for clients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records of client progress and treatment plans
- Provide addiction counseling and support to clients struggling with substance abuse issues
Requirements:
- Familiarity with case management principles and practices
- Ability to address gender issues in counseling sessions sensitively and effectively
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and establish a therapeutic alliance
- Empathy and compassion towards clients' struggles and challenges
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines in therapy practice
- Strong organizational skills to manage caseloads effectively and meet documentation requirements
