Entry-Level Solar Sales Position

Have you ever set appointments before? Door-knocked? Gotten excited about something and shared it with others? -- That's that start of what we do andpotentially your new position.

American Energy & Construction is in your neighborhood and neighborhoods across Florida installing American manufactured solar at no cost to qualifying homeowners. You've probably seen our trucks or at least seen neighbors getting solar on their roof?

Solar allows homeowners to benefit the environment while increasing the value of their home. However, the best part about solar, is it shields homeowners from future increases and inflation when it comes to powering residential homes.

So is it FREE?

No. solar is not free. Homeowners will pay someone a power bill every single month. But homeowners now have a choice: They can continue the status quo and pay the power company each month an increasing amount each year; or they can pay a fixed amount that doesnt change and is less than their current average payment because the sun doesnt increase prices. Which would you choose? Keep in mind, this new option is only for qualified homes and homeowners, about 3 out of 5 qualify.

It's your job to set the appointment for someone to breifly come out and go over a Free custom proposal with potentially qualified homeowners. - That's it!

The proposal will outline the total cost of the system, the orientation of the panels on the roof, the total production of the panels, and the new monthly payment that replaces the constantly increasing electric bill.

When the sale goes down, you, the appointment setter, will earn 40% of the total commission. The remaining 60% is paid to the closer. Everyone is paid 100% of their commission the Friday following the customers install. - This takes approximately 5 weeks.

The bad news: 100% of commission is paid upon install. Current install times in this area are 5 weeks. Some counties allow for quicker installs, however our longest install has taken 2 months. It is imperative to build a consistent pipeline of appointments to blossom into consistent installs which equate to consistent paychecks.

The good news: This is an entry-level position that requires no sales experience and includes comprehensive training. You'll learn the basics from the beginning of how to acquire a new client and how to succeed. You'll be given the tools and mentorship to succeed. Once this position is mastered there are options for further advancement. This position is 100% commission meaning results are rewarded handsomely. You will earn an average of $2000 per install for setting the appointment (40% of the total gross commission.)

Once training is completed we expect a minimum of 3 booked appointments per week.

We travel as a team or independently on our own time. We create our own schedules and choose our own hours provided we continue to book 3 appointments per week.
