POSITION SUMMARY: The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for serving the existing customer base, keeping those relationships going and staying attuned to the opportunities to sell to it again. Using a consultative sales approach, a successful track record of growing and maintaining existing customer base. The role of Inside Sales Representative, combines technical knowledge with sales skills to provide customers with advice and support on the products and services we offer.
REPORTS TO: National Sales Manager
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Retaining and growing revenue through account management, upselling/closing for existing accounts.
- Develop and qualify a pipeline of potential growth with existing accounts and ensure pipeline progression, with a goal of two closed won opportunities per month.
- Execute the overall sales strategy to maximize market penetration.
- Negotiate contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs.
- Suggest innovative ideas to increase sales and improve customer experience.
- Maximize the use of your time to reach the largest breadth of existing customers with a call cadence.
- Confidently discuss our brands, products, and services.
- Meeting regular sales targets.
- Coordinate projects.
- Generation of one million in existing customer revenue growth.
- Goal of 30-40 existing customer engagements daily, via phone or video meeting.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
- 2 years of sales; with strong experience in B2B or transportation/logistics, medical industry experience preferred.
- Ability to maintain 50 plus account portfolio, with daily engagement.
- Quarterly travel
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain quality of work, with CRM entry daily
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Prior experience selling on the value of a product or service to meet the needs of a customer.
- A track record of performing in a variable pay role with a considerable portion of compensation tied to achievement of defined sales objectives.
- Driving success in business with a clear and intentional customer or territory strategy
- Successful history of building strong customer relationships
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite.
