What are the responsibilities and job description for the Collections Specialist - Part Time position at American Fence Company?
American Fence Company is hiring a part-time Collections Specialist Pay range is $21.00 -$25.00/hour DOE. Successful candidate will be very well organized, have excellent communication skills and be computer literate. Familiarity with construction is a plus.

Overview of Duties:
Making collections calls to customers primarily 1-30 days, but could be to up to 90 days past due
Processing credit cards for current customers that are paying and for past due collections
Running the aging report and making phone calls and emails to customers
Working the hot sheet sent from corporate to focus on collecting from customers
Attends the weekly credit meeting with manager
Additional administrative duties include reprinting of invoices and data entry into the system
May do some back up cross training for branch administrator as needed
Education:
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required
Experience:
- 2 plus years of experience in Accounts Receivable or collections
- Notary a plus
Computer Skills:
- Type and 10-key by touch.
- Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook.
