Our company is seeking motivated, dedicated, and confident individuals who wish to pursue a successful and gratifying career in the retail furniture industry. American Freight Furniture and Mattress has over 170 stores throughout The United States and we are growing. We have 30-40 new stores opening each year! We will provide you with a 90 day training period in sales, followed by 60 days as an assistant manager, where you will learn all the essentials for success. After training is completed, there are excellent earning opportunities available as well as career advancement. The best candidates can fast-track into Store and Regional Manager roles.

Retail Sales Associate Requirements:
· An Associate’s degree, recent college graduate, and/or military experience is welcome, but not necessary for consideration.
· Sales experience is a plus, but not required.
· Excels in a competitive environment.
· Maintain a positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
· Excellent relationship building, communication, and presentation skills.
General Description of Duties:
· Boost company sales through exceptional customer service, selling skills, and team building.
· Lead your sales associates to meet sales and service goals set by the company.
· Increase your knowledge of our products, competitor’s products, current advertising, and marketing initiatives.
· Ensure the store is properly staffed and up to company standards.
· Properly manage inventory, customer orders, and employee schedules.
· Organize and lead in daily activities, including store meetings and training sessions.
· Gauge store performance by monitoring weekly, monthly and quarterly performance and financial reports.
