What are the responsibilities and job description for the Creative Specialist position at American Media Periscope?
AMP Media is currently hiring a full time $20/hr creative assistant. This is a 1099 Contact position but could lead to an employment contract with benefits in the future.
AMP Media is an online digital news network that began less than a year ago. Our rapid growth is what leads us to be in need of a well rounded creative assistant.
Currently this role is primarily remote (due to no current physical office space in Denver yet). But applicants must located in the Denver metro area as they will be asked to meet with the Director of Operations regularly and an office space is coming in the near future.
The Creative Specialist/Assistant role will be assigned weekly/daily tasks including (but not limited to) regular website management, social media scheduling and uploads, video thumbnail graphics, basic video cuts and edits, live streaming, creative & administrative assistance to the Director of Operations (creative lead), and online customer assistance.
Applicants must have a basic understanding of:
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Social Media Management
- Some Web design
Bonus if you have any:
web design, technical, or live streaming experience as well.
