Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to staff and customers, assisting with hardware, software and network issues.
  • Administer and maintain our ERP system, ensuring smooth operation and user support.
  • Set up and configure new user accounts across platforms, ensuring proper access levels and permissions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to our web store, assisting customers with navigation and purchasing processes.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to implement and maintain IT policies, procedures as well as best practices.
  • Document and track support requests and resolutions using ticketing systems.
  • Conduct training sessions for staff on IT systems and tools as needed.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in a help desk or technical support role, preferably in a sales or distribution environment.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems, preferably with experience in system administration and user support.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach.
  • Intrinsically motivated with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to interact effectively with individuals at multiple levels.
  • Demonstrates high integrity and professionalism in all interactions.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Epicor Eclipse/Solar, Microsoft Teams, RF Guns, CRMs, e-commerce platforms and/or web technologies.
  • Knowledge of HVAC products and industry.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.
