What are the responsibilities and job description for the Insurance Office Receptionist CSR position at American National Insurance ANPAC?

We are looking for a front desk receptionist office assistant. Ideal candidate is organized, detail oriented, has fantastic customer service skills, a positive attitude, and is confident on the phone. Seeking a self-starter who can problem solve, and research to find answers to unknown questions and/or processes. Spanish speaking is a huge plus! This position requires the ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently.

40 hours a week. 9am-5pm. M-F with some schedule flexibility. Employee benefits, paid vacation, etc. available after the first 90 days. Semi-annual performance reviews offer opportunity for advancement and possible pay increases.

Requirements:

  • 1 year of either customer service or office experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office especially Excel
  • Drug screening
  • Strong computer skills

Job Duties:

  • Answer customer inquiries both over the phone, email, and face-to-face.
  • Following up with unanswered questions and finding solutions to common issues.
  • Collaborate with and support other office staff.
  • Record customer information within our customer service database.
  • Engage with clients in a friendly and professional manner
  • Making outbound calls to clients and mortgage companies about billing issues.
  • Navigate company specific programs to manage and make changes to client accounts.
  • Run office errands from time to time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
