JOB DESCRIPTION:
This position is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of production lines; line quality and utilization/rotation of line team in accordance with company specifications. Ensure work area is free of debris, spilled product, and prompt reporting of unsafe condition to management, which may jeopardize safety or product quality.
Must be committed to providing our customers a product that is safe and meets specifications, regulations, and statutory requirements.
In this role, you will be expected to have an in depth understanding of the technical and operational aspects of the line or area. This is a hands-on role that will require you to operate equipment, monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement across multiple pieces of equipment.
DAILY & MONTHLY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Meets specifics of customer orders in a timely manner.
- Monitors product quality frequently, reporting problems to mitigate safety issues.
- Operates various pieces of equipment (i.e., forklift).
- Reports any mechanical problems.
- Utilizes continuous-improvement mindset and assists in identifying opportunities to improve processes.
- Follows Good Manufacturing Practices and required work-safe practices.
- Communicates and enforces company policies to the AN team, including safety regulations.
- Responsible for in-process inspection procedures.
- Optimize production line efficiency by monitoring productivity and quality.
- Drive Lean Initiative for your area of responsibility which includes: Performance Boards, Metrics Updating, Huddles, 5s, and process improvement on lines.
- Trains and supervises new production line employees.
- Approve time and attendance; obtain overtime authorizations.
- Focused on resources and goals of the AN team, team motivator and coach!
- Performs other duties as assigned.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work well with others – lead teams.
- Regular attendance and being on time are a must.
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least three years' production line experience in a related industry.
- Extensive knowledge of product specifications and production standards.
- In-depth knowledge of industry regulations.
- People management & Reporting experience.
- Experience with mechanical systems
- Experience with chemical handling
ADDITIONAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to read, understand, document and maintain records as required.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiar with inventory control using RF scanning.
- Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. frequently
- Forklift license
- Ability to work well with others

- Good hygiene standards. Frequent hand washing. Covering of all open body hair.
- No loose or hanging clothing or jewelry. Legs must be covered. Work pants or jeans preferred.
- Must wear hairnets, beard covers, and disposable glove while in packing area
- Work in noisy environment - ear protection required
