The Accounts Payable clerk maintains and coordinates accounts payable records for multiple company locations along with their team members. Duties include, but are not limited to, processing and reviewing supplier invoices for proper general ledger coding, processing and mailing checks, processing employee expenses and processing customer refunds as well as month-end supplier reconciliation. Previous related- experience is a must and working knowledge of a Workday Financial is a plus!

Salary: $42,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year

Responsibilities:

  • Set up suppliers for check or ACH payments when needed
  • Enter and track various locations utility bills
  • Review AP entries made by the various locations for correctness of expense category and Depts and correct as needed
  • Review and approve petty cash transactions for various locations
  • Verify and approve and correct as needed for employees credit cards for various locations
  • Correspond with Suppliers regarding billing and payments
  • Create and track weekly outgoing payments through approval process
  • Print and mail payments
  • Record Accounts Payable banking transactions
  • Participate in some monthend reporting and Supplier reconciliations utilizing Excel and Google sheets
  • Supporting and communicating the financial needs of various locations

Abilities required

  • Qualified applicants will have prior related AP experience.
  • Team members must be detail-oriented with high levels of accuracy.
  • They must be able to multi-task, to take initiative, and be able to work

independently.

  • Adaptability and Integrity
  • The successful candidate will possess excellent communication, planning and organizational skills.
  • Experience with Workday Financial or other similar computer accounting package is a definite plus.
  • Candidates should be comfortable with Excel, Word and other Microsoft Office programs.

The AP Clerk on our team can expect:

  • Position is in office M-F, 8-5 year-round, FT, OT eligible
