What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receptionist (full-time) position at American Premier?
The receptionist makes sure the main office is running smoothly by answering the phone, dictating messages, ensuring messages get to the intended person, forwarding the phone line, tying the field staff and office staff together, emailing, faxing and copying when needed, and putting together packets when requested.
Job Duties:
- Answer and transfer phone calls
- Data Entry
- Verify insurance benefits
- Faxing
- Perform any other duties assigned
Job Requirements:
- Prefer to have 1 years of previous knowledge in a medical front office.
- Excellent telephone skills
- Must be proficient in Word and Excel.
- Previous experience with medical software preferred.
- Team player attitude, energetic, with a focus on excellent customer service.
- Attention to detail
- Time Management skills
- Be Organized
Education/Credentials: High school graduate or equivalent.
