The primary job functions include setting up Google My Business and other social media accounts for small businesses, conducting training seminars on how to use social media for small businesses, and other projects as assigned.

Responsibilities for Social Media Coordinator
- Aid in content creation for social media platforms
- Stay up to date on all new social media trends
- Help research and implement social media best practices
- Help monitor daily/weekly social media analytics
- Help with responding to reviews, customer interaction, community engagement
- Grow and expand the company social media presence into new social media platforms, plus increase presence on existing platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram.
Qualifications for Social Media Coordinator
- 2-3 years of professional work experience in social media or other relevant experience
- Experience managing mainstream social media platforms including, but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter
- Graphic design experience (preferred)
- Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and the web
- Proficient in Adobe PhotoShop, Illustrator, InDesign, and other graphic design software
- Compelling portfolio of work over a wide range of creative projects
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent eye for detail

Job Responsibilities:
This position will involve 60% social media, 30% graphic design and 10% administrative.
Secondary Responsibilities May Include:
- Create and design various materials for print and digital collateral
- Ensure projects are completed with high quality and on schedule
- Establish creative direction for the company as well as brand guidelines
- Prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions
- Perform retouching and manipulation of images
- Work with a wide range of media and use graphic design software
