Job Posting for Academic Clerk at American Virtual Academy
Primary duties and responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Director of Academics to determine priorities and opportunities to provide administrative support for Academic activities.
Assist with data entry, organization, reporting and dissemination as needed
Assist with preparing and sending out communication to various stakeholders
Schedule team meetings and student intervention team meetings
Effectively communicate meeting information to parents and students by phone and email
Assist with the implementation of required district testing organization and communication
Perform all job duties with a sense of urgency and attention to detail
Assist with inbound calls for the academics department
Assist with organizing substitute teachers
Other duties as assigned

Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and interpret complex policies and procedures

Ability to maintain a high level of customer service with all stakeholders
High level of organizational skill
Experience working under time pressure while maintaining a rigorous attention to detail while maintaining composure, professionalism, and positive attitude.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to learn and navigate efficiently through multiple student information systems and applications and Google Drive
Education/Training:
High School Diploma or GED
2 years experience in an administrative office position
Current Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card preferred
Excellent Microsoft office skills
Proficient in Excel
Excellent communication skills both oral and written
Prior data reporting experience preferred
Prior scheduling experience preferred
Environmental Conditions: Usual office setting
