Primavera is seeking a dynamic individual to join our innovative team as a Special Education Scheduling Clerk.


Position Summary:

The Exceptional Student Services Scheduling Clerk will work closely with the Director of Exceptional Student Services, Special Education Teachers and the School Psychologist to schedule the appropriate Individualized Education Plan (IEP) and Evaluation meetings. The ESS Scheduling Clerk will also support teachers to ensure compliance to timelines set forth in Arizona Revised Statutes and the Individuals with Disabilities in Education Act of 2004 and provide customer services to parents and students as necessary.

Primary duties and responsibilities:

  • Schedule IEP and RED meetings at the direction of the director, teacher or school psychologist
  • Ensure compliance with timelines by reviewing IEP and RED due dates and scheduling meetings accordingly
  • Utilize various reports through the SIS and e-IEPPRO to ensure compliance with timelines
  • Collect special education and 504 documents for new and returning students
  • Process incoming faxes and records requests for the Special Education Department

Job Specific Skills/Abilities:

  • Previous experience working with students with exceptional learning needs is valued, but not required


Education/Training:

  • Minimum of 6 months in current position
  • Effective performance rating in most recent evaluation

Other Requirements:

  • Current Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
