Registered Nurse (RN)

Americare Lodges located in Grand Rapids Minnesota. Americare Lodges is an assisted living facility that offers assisted living services. We are looking for an RN to complete day to day operations of the facility. You will create a collaborative and efficient workplace with attention to quality standards and policies. We are looking for someone who is hard-working, goal orientated, compassionate and driven to succeed in the best standard of care for residents who reside in our facilities. Necessary skills for this position include being efficient, dedicated, a good listener and a problem-solver. Must have an active Registered Nursing License.

Responsibilities Include:

· Complete routine assessments on current residents

· Complete admission screening on potential residents

· Admit new residents to facilities

· Coordinate resident service plans

· Process new MD orders

· Maintaining of residents

· Check in cycle medications

· Communicate with pharmacy

· Communicate with county case managers and complete waiver assessments

· Provide staff training and complete competency supervisions and employee quarterly reviews

· Implement staff corrective actions and employee improvement plans

· Address change of condition in residents

· Be part of an on-call rotation for evenings and weekends

· Be available on site for state surveyors

· Provide assistance to the Director of Nursing

· Complete other tasks assigned by Administrator

Skills Necessary:

· Knowledge of assisted living and/or will for fast paced learning.

· Knowledge of legal regulations and best practices in healthcare

· Willingness to keep abreast of changing standards in nursing administration

· Excellent ability to lead and develop personnel

· Great communication and people skills

· Outstanding organizational and stress management skills

· Aptitude in problem-solving

· Valid RN license

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $33.00 per hour
