Work directly with Director of Inventory Control, Operations Leadership, Corporate teams and Customers to ensure we are in compliance to all inventory control practices, bring best practices across the entire network and use data analytics to identify and drive improvements.
Essential Functions:
- Review Key Performance Indicators to ensure that operational, financial, client service and food safety controls are in place
- Perform internal audits to ensure company policies and standard operating procedures are being observed and properly executed; these facility visits must be in depth and include a review of inventory control practices including but not limited to: cycle counting procedures, record-keeping, follow-up on missing/damaged cases, adjustments, segregation of duties. Partner with site Management and inventory owners to develop and implement recommendations
- Help coach, mentor, train and develop Inventory Control Supervisors, Managers and hourly associates
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, logistics or management preferred
- At least 3 years' experience in warehousing and/or logistics management
- At least 3 years' experience with Inventory controls and best practices
- Advanced technical skills with Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint
- Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time, sometimes with little notice
- Experience in 3PL and Cold Storage environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to communicate with all levels of the business
- Experience supporting multiple sites and projects simultaneously
- Familiarity with WMS such as Korber, HighJump, Cloverleaf, P2/Power, Red Prairie, AS400, JDA/BY, etc.
