What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Entry Specialist position at Amerifiber Inc?

Searching for a Data Entry Specialist who will have core responsibilities in a diverse range of administrative support needs. The Data Entry Specialist’s daily responsibilities would include filing and handling mail, as well as other office-related tasks, including data-entry and typing. This highly organized and customer-service minded position works internally with management and other office staff on a daily and weekly basis.

Responsibilities:

Provide clerical support to multiple client service teams.
Receiving, logging and distributing all electronic and hard copy incoming documents for multiple teams
Inputting data for eligibility and contract related documents into a centrally maintained database; routing documents to appropriate team member
Filing various documents into online and/or hard copy group folders and maintaining enrollment form files in accordance with HIPAA procedures
Retrieving documents from files as needed by team members
Sorting and mailing various reports to customers with appropriate cover letter
Processing ID card requests
Performing miscellaneous clerical functions to support the team, as needed including but not limited to, providing telephone support, and assisting team with photo copying and fax

Qualifications:

Working knowledge of Windows, Word, Excel and Outlook
Provides assistance, information, or other support, to build or maintain relationships with all team members
Shares ideas and information with team members
Takes responsibility for own actions and results
Able to prioritize tasks and responsibilities
Asks for help when needed
Meets customer expectations and requirements
Able to lift up to 40 pounds in retrieving and delivering boxes and reports to/from Client Services
Able to key information into a PC for a minimum of 6 hours
