Tank Refurbisher/Maintenance Technician

This position will require travel 3 weeks a month.

Duties & Responsibilities :

• Remove rust on tanks and repaint them
• Replace parts on tanks as required
• Visually recertify tanks
• Clean up work area after work is completed daily
• Identify and report when replacement supplies are needed
• Provide daily reports of the number of tanks / cylinders completed, by size

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from manager
• Ability to climb steps / ladders, walk 1-5 miles and carry multiple propane cylinders weighing up to 75 lbs. each
• Lifting, pushing, pulling, bending and climbing in and around tanks
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather and driving conditions
• Willingness to travel minimum of 3 weeks / month, sometimes including weekends

Education and Experience :

• At least 21 years old
• Valid driver’s license

The pay for this position ranges from $21.00 to $25.00 , depending on circumstances including an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors.

Additional compensation includes eligibility to earn a performance-based bonus or commissions on completed sales.

This is the Company’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this position as of the time of posting.
