What you will be doing (Remote position) Summary: The Solution Consultant is responsible for leading pre-sales product demonstrations for AmerisourceBergen customers. This individual will work closely with clients to understand business needs and technical requirements while supporting sales teams in positioning the value of AmerisourceBergen products and solutions. They will serve as a consultant, advocate, and subject matter expert to understand customer needs, align solutions, and provide direct guidance to product teams to ensure AmerisourceBergen solutions are evolving to meet growing customer needs. An effective Solution Consultant will have a desire to ensure our solutions are presented in a value-based manner, supporting sales in understanding the solution and value to our customers, supporting our customers in their business and technical evaluation of our solutions; influencing a growing customer base for supported solutions. As a member of the Global Products and Solutions team, the Solution Consultant delivers continuous improvement with a goal of innovating and enhancing services over time to meet the changing needs of the business. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Serve as the subject matter expert for RFID solution offerings as well as understand the larger AB portfolio offering to support bundling and value realization discussions. Build and maintain strong relationships with sales, solutions support, IT, development, and product teams. Maintain full working knowledge of AmerisourceBergen services, products, and data architecture. Solution Consulting: Support pre-sales efforts by conducting customer current state assessments and value-led product presentations and demonstrations. Technical Sales Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert for RFID inventory management solutions answering product and technical questions, supporting customers with product implementation planning and scope requirements. Solution Design: Collect feature requests and competitive intelligence during pre-sales engagements, acting as a source for market requirements for Product Management. Implementation and Integration: Previous experience working with hospital pharmacy systems with working knowledge of integration and implementation requirements ensuring customer objectives and workflow needs are clearly captured and translated to support a seamless transition post-sale. Market Analysis: Develop a deep understanding of competitors, buying behaviors and industry regulations to provide informed recommendations and guidance to sales representatives and customers. Collaboration: Serve as a liaison between customers, product, and sales teams by developing a consistent feedback loop on market changes and product requirements that are needed for product enhancements and development. Proposal Development: Assisting in the creation of sales proposals and RFP responses, including identifying project scope, estimating project timelines, and outlining implementation plans. Commercialization Support: Identify needs and contribute to the development of training tools and product collateral. Partner with Business unit commercial leaders to drive sales strategies, monitor sales pipeline and support forecasting. What your background should look like Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of professional work experience. Pharmacy experience is a plus but not required. 2 years of solution consulting or customer facing experience. Healthcare IT Experience: Strong understanding of healthcare IT systems, workflows, and regulatory requirements within a healthcare setting, preferably hospital pharmacy and inventory management systems. Continuous Learning: Eagerness to learn and expand knowledge in healthcare IT through ongoing professional development and training. Problem-solving Abilities: Ability to analyze complex problems, think critically, and propose effective solutions to meet business requirements. Communication and Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders. Customer Focus: Strong customer service orientation and the ability to understand and address the needs of healthcare professionals and end-users. Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities, work under pressure, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Ability to execute and prioritize a large number of tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong aptitude for learning new software concepts and related technologies. Ability to work independently and to participate in cross-functional teams. Exceptionally detail-oriented and relentless in driving projects to completion. Possess process and change management skills. Outstanding communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Knowledge of CRM tools, such as SalesForce. Ranges in Colorado/California/Washington State-specific locations may be up to 10% lower than the minimum salary range, and 12% higher than the maximum salary range.
