The Manager, Technical Writing will create associate resource guides and other training materials on the technical components of a job for new and ongoing training of incumbents within the Group Claims, Policy Services (Admin), and Customer Service departments.

What you do
- Creates and maintains business process documentation such as company policy procedures and job aides.
- Builds strategies and designs, organizes, and maintains Ameritas Group Division training and procedural materials.
- Utilizes available technology to enhance and improve delivery of training and procedural materials to trainees.
- Applies design standards to build out training and procedural templates.
- Leads, trains, and coaches the technical writer team.
- Translates complex subject matter into clear and effective training and procedural materials.
- Partners with internal stakeholders to identify training, policy, and procedure documentation needs.
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
- 4-7 years related experience required. Previous Technical Writing experience is required.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience is preferred
- Previous experience using technical writing software preferred
