Distribution - Asis Pacific - Australia

Purpose

To work as a member of the distribution team to achieve the firm’s business goals by generating new funds flow from both new and existing clients in Australia and New Zealand.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

The primary responsibility of the Business Development Manager is to drive new business growth across all GAM products in Australia and New Zealand through:

  • Working with senior members of the distribution team to deliver on client requests

  • Engagement with current wealth advisory clients

  • Development of new wealth advisory prospects

  • Working with key influencers such as platforms and asset consultants

  • Organising events including roundtables and road shows and maintaining the CRM and relevant distribution lists

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience in asset management

  • Knowledgeable about a wide range of investment products attractive to clients, with a good understanding of alternative investments 

  • University graduate or higher degree.  Post graduate qualifications such CFA and CAIA are highly regarded

  • Possess strong client relationship management skills and an excellent team player

  • Ability to achieve operational goals and to work well under the pressure of tight deadlines
