AMETEK Hughes-Treitler (HT) is the industry leader in high-performance, plate-fin, Aluminum/Inconel heat exchangers for Military and Commercial Engine, Rotary, Airframe, and similar applications. HT specializes in custom build-to-specification applications where thermal performance, weight, structural and reliability are key considerations. HT provides Engine Surface Coolers, Fuel-Cooled Oil Coolers, Air-Cooled Oil Coolers, high temperature Buffer/Pre-Coolers, and bundled Heat Exchanger/Fan/Blower/Duct systems for the most challenging applications/requirements.
2nd Shift Hours: 3:30pm - 12:00am

Position Summary:
Liquid flushing and cleanliness testing of various heat transfer assemblies as per written work instruction to verify unit cleanliness as per prescribed specification packaging and delivery to customer.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for set-up and flushing heat transfer assemblies as per written work instruction
- Responsible for performing cleanliness tests as per written work instruction.
- Responsible for the daily maintenance of all test equipment and systems and overhaul of equipment as per supervisor instruction
- Responsible for logging test data on appropriate log/data sheets
- Responsible for filing and maintaining cleanliness test results as per written work instruction.
- Responsible for the accurate reporting of labor using HT’s MRP system
- Responsible for the cleanliness of the work area
- Responsible for the use particles counter equipment
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Must be conversant in and read and write English.
- Basic math skills w/comprehension of different number systems and a working knowledge of decimals.
- Computer literacy with knowledge of HT’s MRP system at a minimum
- Strong ability to troubleshoot and solve problems with limited supervision.
- Ability to examine particles under magnifiers.
Education and Experience:
- High school/trade school diploma
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in HT production testing - preferably as a Technician 2nd Cl - Cleanliness Testing and possess comprehensive product knowledge and history.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
