AMHC is looking for dedicated people to join our Emergency Services Program to fill our Child and Family Crisis Support Specialist. This Full-Time position is looking for an individual to cover our Hancock County area. The Child and Family Crisis Support Specialist will provide support to youth and their families through in-the-home setting services. They will work to keep children in the least restrictive environment by providing interventions to prevent the need for a higher level of care. This includes working with children who have mental health needs and/or co-occurring substance use, and intellectual and developmental disorders. The chosen candidate will be expected to demonstrate the core values of AMHC by showing Integrity, Compassion, Excellence, Service, Collaboration, and Respect to co-workers, clients, and community members.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in a relevant field is required
  • 1 year of relevant work experience
  • Valid driver's license

Responsibilities & Expectations:

  • Engage with families and children who are transitioning between levels of care with Compassion and Integrity.
  • develop a client-centered plan of care that encompasses the child and family’s emotional, behavioral, and physical health needs in Collaboration with the child and family team.
  • Provide and coordinate referrals focused on the family's Service needs
  • Build Respectful relationships with community partners showing the Excellence that AMHC offers

Schedule:

  • This is a 40-hour-per-week position

Pay: $33,500.00 - $40,200.00 per year
