Human Resource Manager-
Starting Salary based on experience: $85,000
Sign Bonus: $500
Monday to Friday
Location: Headquarters in Oxnard, CA.
Amigo Baby is the leading provider of pediatric therapy in the Central Coast for over 19 years. Our highly regarded infant intervention program is adding the position of Human Resource Manager.
Responsibilities:
· Recruiting. You will partner with the firm Talent Acquisition Specialist to translate business objectives and build a sustainable, scalable sourcing plan to achieve current and future goals. You will provide oversight of recruitment, interviewing, and facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions. You will also collaborate with departmental Directors to understand skills and competencies required for openings. You will manage our relationships with external recruiting firms.
· Onboarding. You will ensure the successful onboarding of new employees, drafting onboarding plans that address goals, supervisory/reporting structure, training, and integration into the firm.
· Communication Liaison. You will handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, external agencies, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff. You will facilitate communication among employees and executive leadership to ensure that employees are familiar with the organizations mission, goals, policies, and expectations.
· Talent Management. You will work with Directors to execute on strategic plans to mentor, motivate, and retain employees, maintain the firm’s compensation strategy for all employees based on market research and pay surveys, and support in developing performance management programs helping the firm to achieve its long-term goals.
· HR Research. You will maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources and employment law, analyze trends in compensation and benefits. You will maintain the organization’s compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
· Project Management. You will manage HR programs and processes (e.g., payroll, performance management, compensation benchmarking, diversity/equity/inclusion monitoring, talent reviews, etc.), maintain the company organization charts and employee directory, lead HR project rollouts/internal-facing campaigns and initiatives, as well as track the organization’s overall HR strategies, methods, tactics, and procedures to ensure the desired objectives and outcomes are reached.
Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required. Master’s in human resources, Business Administration preferred.
- Certified as SPHR or PHR preferred.
- 5 years of experience working in human resource management
- Excellent communication skills. Bilingual English / Spanish a plus.
- Ability to always maintain confidentiality.
- Independently develops own assignments/tasks/projects based on agency HR-needs identified by or in collaboration with leaders.
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office.
- Professional written/oral communications
- Positively interacts with any level employee.
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance and dependable vehicle
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and proactively analyze and resolve problems.
- Ability to travel to other locations on a quarterly basis.
