Job Description
The Project Manager and Technical Writer will advise and assist with development of the Project Management Office (PMO) and make recommendations on project management tools. This position will also be responsible for writing and editing various technical documents such as project charters, design documents, etc. The executive project manager will serve as a liaison between departments within the Digital Transformation Project (DTP) to ensure that projects are completed successfully, coordinating with outside vendors to ensure that all materials, equipment, and labor needed for projects are available on time.
- Focus will be on Infrastructure Consolidation, Data Governance and Analytics, and Deployment of Student Information Systems.
- Other projects can be in Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).
- Goal is to optimize communication, collaboration, and cybersecurity.
- Streamline administrative processes.
- Ensure progress is monitored, measured, and reported to stakeholders for timely decision making.
- Need a PM that can also create high level technical documentation.
- Experience with SaaS with API development.
- SaaS like O365, Google Suite, and some non-major applications.
- Need experience with Azure/AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
- Need experience in Oracle based applications.
- Cisco, firewalls.
Other criteria
should have at least 10 years of experience in managing higher education, government, and corporate projects.
