What are the responsibilities and job description for the Help Desk - Now Hiring position at Ampcus Inc?
- Coordinate Command, Control, Communications, Computers Information Management (C4IM) service delivery for the 63rd RD.
- Provide second tier telephonic, desk-side, and workbench support as required.
- Track customer issues to resolution. Analyze, diagnose, and resolve software and hardware problems in the end-user computing environment.
- Instruct customers on the proper action to take and assist in restoring operations.
- Monitor service delivery against Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Provide training of end-user off-the-shelf office applications; develop technical support documentation and user's guides.
- Support life-cycle replacement of IT assets by provisioning replacement assets and processing end-of-life assets for property turn-in in compliance with 63rd RD IT property accountability policies and procedures.
- Install and configure new computer hardware and peripheral devices.
- Coordinate with commercial vendors for warranty parts and service delivery.
- Obtain quotes for parts and supplies through approved sources of supply and submit purchase requests.
- Install and configure standard software products.
- Add and remove user accounts and network devices from the domain.
- Identify network connectivity problems and diagnose physical cabling issues in end-user work areas.
- Provide support for command conferences, meetings, and exercises.
- Schedule and operate VTC hardware and facilities; coordinate multi-site sessions; provide operator assistance and troubleshooting.
- Assist with the configuration and maintenance of audiovisual projection and public address systems.
- Provide device activation, diagnostics, and battery replacement of various wireless devices including, blackberries, cell phones, and air cards.
- Assist in the development of automation support strategies for the command.
Requirements:
- Must have valid and current DoD SECRET security clearance.
- DOD 8570.01 Compliance required.
- Security Certification required.
