Description: Client is seeking a Lead Consultant with Xstore/POS experience. The position will primarily responsible for anchoring client engagements pertaining Oracle XStore product implementation/support with catering to customer requirements. The selected candidate must be experienced and knowledgeable in Xstore POS framework and should be able to provide lead implementation/support projects pertaining to Xstore POS, understand client problems and closely knit the project teams towards timely closure of the project. Candidate must act as a liaison between client stake holders and project team towards delivery governance and client engagement. Candidate must handle project scheduling, tracking, coordination with customer process consultants and business SME and development and QA teams towards all the project phases and ensure project schedule. Candidate must derive opportunities and make recommendations from the discovery product discussions towards solution to problems in point of sale, store business enablement, bring in value add in the process. The chosen candidate will play an important role in the development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution with an opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 7 years of experience with Information Technology.
The candidate should be willing to relocate or be commutable to Nashville, TN or candidate can be anywhere in the US with regular travel.
Good experience in Xstore POS implementation and support projects
Experience in client facing engagements involving different phases of the Xstore POS implementation/support projects, project planning, scheduling, tracking, reporting, ensuring delivery governance, close client engagement, coordinate with client and project stake holders with project management best practices and tools towards bringing in POS application changes towards business enablement, as well as problem solving and store modernization within the committed project schedule.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in executing development and support projects
Ability to communicate complex technology solutions to diverse teams namely, technical, business and management teams
Experience managing a team size of 8-10 members
Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
