What are the responsibilities and job description for the Stock Compensation and Equity Accountant position at Ampere Computing?

The Role:

We are seeking a Stock Compensation and Equity Accountant to join our accounting team based in Portland, Oregon. We are looking for someone who can work across several groups including Legal, Human Resources and accounting, to design, implement and maintain stock compensation accounting processes.

What You’ll Do:

Overall

o Understand and analyze Ampere’s Share Based Compensation plan and structure in accordance with ASC718
o Develop, implement, and improve accounting processes and procedures
o Communicate and collaborate with a variety of Ampere and Accounting teammates
o Prepare and maintain process documentation

Specifics

o Calculate and account for monthly share-based compensation entries
o Own and design share-based compensation disclosures
o Work with various vendors on accounting reports and processes
o Partner with our People & Culture on future stock design and processes

What You’ll Bring:

  • 5 years relevant experience, including a strong background in ASC718
  • NetSuite experience is a plus
  • Stock vendor experience is a plus
  • Excel skills with an ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Problem solver and ability to analyze large data sets
  • Strong attention to detail
  • “Can do” attitude with enthusiasm to drive and innovate processes
  • Manages priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Has a blast contributing to a team and can also work independently

Education:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
