The Role -
Amphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking a Manufacturing Assembly Supervisor, 2nd shift to work out of its state-of-the-art facility in Sidney, NY.
The key responsibilities of the Manufacturing Assembly Supervisor include, but are not limited to:
- Coordinates and assures the execution of production flow
- Responsible for staffing assigned operations, equipment, and reducing manufacturing costs
- Coordinates with all Sidney operations to maximize productivity, delivery, and product quality
- Execution of process improvements, cost reductions, and manufacturing efficiencies
- Supervises Assembly personnel
- Administrative responsibility for hourly employees' timekeeping and vacation scheduling
- Understands and resolves impediments to production flow (i.e., materials shortages, labor, and/or equipment issues)
- Responsible for insuring safety and quality in the Assembly work area
- Facilitates budgeted cost reductions, productivity improvements, and capital equipment recommendations
- Interfaces with Union leadership in resolving labor issues and enforces all Company Policies
- Customer service support and responsibility for on time delivery
- Training of assigned personnel
Salary $58,000 - $75,000 plus 5% shift differential

The Person -
The key skills and qualities of a Manufacturing Assembly Supervisor at Amphenol Aerospace Operations:
- Minimum BA/BS in an operations related discipline or equivalent education/experience
- At least 3 years of prior operations or materials related experience
- Cost reduction and budget experience a plus
- Prior personnel management and/or leadership experience a plus
- The ability to move about factory floor, stand for long periods of time, use a computer, lift, and carry up to 20 pounds, and work any shift
