Shipping/Receiving Lead

The Shipping Receiving Team Lead is responsible for making certain drives, supplies, stock, materials, packaging materials, and products are processed through the delivery and/or warehouse system efficiently and safely. Verifies and keeps records on incoming/outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment by performing the following duties to quality and productivity standards.
Responsibilities:

• Load and unload shipments

• Ensure compliance standards are met according to process

• Ensure the accuracy of inbound and outbound orders

• Executes and supports with orders during whole process from picking, packing, palletizing to labeling

• Maintains quality assurance by working with cross-functional supervisors.

• Ability to retain information to achieve full knowledge of product/ materials inventory.

• Maintains knowledge of security in the facility and/or oversees all visitors and the visitor log-in.

• Ship Orders using FedEx and or UPS systems as well as other Logistic vendors

• Prepare accurate bills of lading

• Operates lift trucks or hand trucks to convey, move or lift materials to proper locations, departments, or areas.

• Track OS&D shipments by the established procedures

• Perform Collection from customer site

• Provide client support when necessary

• Overseas department deliverables and needs

• Maintains department neatly organized and free of clutter

Preferred Skills

• Proven experience as logistics lead or team coordinator

• Powered Industrial Forklift (Stand-up) Certification

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds routinely in an 8-hour shift. (Physically demanding position)

• Experience using UPS shipping manager and or FedEx.

• Computer experience with a working knowledge of logistics protocols

• Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities

• Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
