SUMMARY:
Inside Sales Representative (ISR) is an associate-mid level sales position primarily responsible for inside sales account lead generation, opportunity qualification, cultivating the prospect and customer relationship, increasing revenue and profit, closing new accounts, and building the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
This position also serves as the primary service contact for clients and is responsible for client satisfaction, including some strategic planning responsibilities. This position is expected to consistently provide excellent customer service and leadership to accounts, as well as represent company goals within the organization to ensure quality.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors degree and/or applicable relevant experience.
Minimum of 2 years successful experience as a successful inside sales representative.
Experience in lighting industry and/or construction trade is preferred, but not required.
Proficient in concepts in commercial and/or consumer service-oriented companies.
Ability and experience selling to Manager levels within the organization.
Effective problem solving and decision-making skills.
Strong communication (verbal and written) and relationship skills.
Organization and time management skills.
Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding assigned annual/quarterly goals and targets.
Attentive to forecasting and business reporting responsibilities.
At least an intermediate level in using Microsoft Office products Especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Proven aptitude for learning software platforms (e.g., PipeDrive, Service Trade, SharePoint, and QuickBooks).
