We currently have an opening for a Regional Sales Manager.
As the Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the sales efforts within a designated region. You will work closely with a team of sales representatives and collaborate with various departments to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of successful sales management, excellent leadership skills, and a strong understanding of the distribution industry.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies and initiatives to achieve sales targets within the assigned region.
- Identify new business opportunities and potential clients within the region, and develop strategic plans to expand the customer base.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and key stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product or service enhancements.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop regional sales campaigns, promotions, and advertising materials to effectively communicate the value proposition of Wallace Distribution.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to the senior management team.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all sales activities.
- Stay updated with industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact the distribution business.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the distribution industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
- Results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Analytical and strategic thinking abilities to identify market trends and develop effective sales strategies.
