CNC Machine Operator

Position: CNC Machine Operator

Essential Functions and Basic Duties

• Experience with HAAS CNC vertical machining center and/or CNC lathe
• Able to read and understand engineering drawings
• Able to use measuring instruments such as micrometer, depth micrometer, OD/ID calipers, and production gauges
• Experience in a production manufacturing environment and repetitive operations is a requirement
• Understanding and creating CNC programs a plus

Education/Certification

• High School Graduate or Equivalent

Experience Required

• Production manufacturing environment

Skills/Abilities

• Mechanical, hands on skills
• Cooperative and willing to assist others.
• Ability to closely follow written and verbal instructions and communicate effectively with various department representatives.

Physical Activities and Requirements of this Position

• Ability to move at least 50 pounds
• Ability to access tools and parts
• Ability to frequently operate pneumatic and electric tools

Working Conditions

• Typical manufacturing environment to include fluctuating temperatures.

(60 Day Probation Period) The first 60 Days of the Employment Term shall be considered Employee’s probationary period. During the probationary period, the company shall not provide any fringe benefits. If Employee’s employment continues past the Probationary period, the Company shall provide to Employee the same Benefits that it offers its other non-probationary employees.
