Overview
Amyx is seeking a Trainer-Technical Writer II to join our government client in Bethesda, MD.
Responsibilities
Conducts the research necessary to develop and revise training courses. Develops and revises courses and prepare appropriate training catalogs. Prepares instructor materials (course outline, background material, and training aids). Prepares student materials (course manuals, workbooks, handouts, completion certificates, and course critique forms). Trains personnel by conducting formal classroom courses, workshops, and seminars. Prepares reports and monitors training tasks in support of the goals of the Contractor Program Manager and the government sponsor(s) using standard training standards and SW/HW programs such as modeling and simulation and prototyping efforts. Provides input to the Project Lead and the Contractor Program Manager on which decisions for training validation and or modifications of specified items or systems can be corrected.
Qualifications
Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree
Six (6) years of work experience, with at least three (3) years of experience related to the functional responsibilities for the position.
