Home to the 2007 Stanley Cup champion Anaheim Ducks, the arena annually hosts top-name concerts, exciting sporting events, and family favorites. Our History Owned by the city of Anaheim, Honda Center officially opened as Anaheim Arena on June 19, 1993, with a sold-out Barry Manilow concert. In October of that same year, the venue was renamed Arrowhead Pond and hosted the first Mighty Ducks of Anaheim game. The year 2005 began a new era as Henry and Susan Samueli took ownership of both the team and the venue management company, Anaheim Arena Management, LLC. In 2006, the official name of the arena changed to Honda Center, along with the team to Anaheim Ducks. Once you've had a chance to explore our current open positions, apply to the ones you feel suit you best and keep track of both your progress in the selection process, and new postings that might interest you Responsibilities Housekeeper - 2nd shift / Part Time / Event Based General cleaning and maintenance of the Honda Center Area which includes: Sweeping, mopping, picking up debris, emptying trash, throughout the arena in assigned seating sections. Skills Candidate should be detail oriented and be able to perform cleaning tasks without constant supervision. Duties include, but not limited to, the overall cleanliness of the arena and providing a pleasant safe experience for our guest by ensuring that all supplies are stocked and building is free from all trash and debris. In addition to regular duties, additional responsibilities may include non-event pre-cleaning, detailing and general upkeep of the area. This would include, but not limited to cleaning windows and floors by wiping, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming. Gather and emptying of trash. Candidate should be detail oriented and be able to perform cleaning tasks without constant supervision. Perform proper lifting of light cleaning equipment, including mop buckets, brooms, and vacuums. Operate machinery, safety equipment, tools, and supplies. Demonstrate proper use of equipment/restraints when working above an open area. Report any safety concerns, suggestions, or other pertinent information to supervisor.
